What are Projects?

Projects in Migma help you organize your emails, campaigns, and audiences into separate workspaces. Each project can represent a different brand, client, or campaign initiative.
Projects keep your work organized and make it easy to switch between different brands or clients.

Creating a Project

Navigate to Projects

Click on the Projects dropdown in the top navigation

Create New Project

Click “New Project” and enter your project details

Configure Brand

Set up your brand colors, fonts, and logo

Start Creating

Begin creating emails within your new project

Define your brand’s color palette for consistent email design:

Typography

Set default fonts for your project:
  • Headings
  • Body Text
Choose fonts for email headings and titles.Recommended web-safe fonts:
  • Arial
  • Helvetica
  • Georgia
  • Times New Roman
  • Verdana

Logo & Branding

Upload your logo and configure how it appears in emails:
  • Format: PNG, SVG, or JPG
  • Size: Maximum 500KB
  • Dimensions: Recommended 600x200px or smaller
  • Background: Transparent PNG recommended
Configure where your logo appears:
  • Header (default)
  • Footer
  • Both header and footer
  • Custom positioning

Configure default settings for all emails in this project:

Switching Between Projects

Easily switch between your projects:
  1. Click the Project dropdown in the top navigation
  2. Select the project you want to work on
  3. All emails, campaigns, and audiences are scoped to that project
Use keyboard shortcut Cmd/Ctrl + K to quickly switch projects

Archiving Projects

Keep your workspace clean by archiving completed projects:
Archived projects are read-only. You can view emails and campaigns but cannot send new emails or modify content.
To archive a project:
  1. Navigate to Project Settings
  2. Click “Archive Project”
  3. Confirm the action
Archived projects can be:
  • Viewed at any time
  • Restored if needed
  • Permanently deleted after 90 days

Best Practices

Create separate projects for each brand you manage. This keeps branding, settings, and audiences isolated.
Name projects clearly so team members can easily identify them (e.g., “Acme Corp - Q4 2024” instead of “Project 1”).
Set up brand colors, fonts, and logos before creating emails to ensure consistency from the start.
Archive old projects to keep your workspace organized and improve performance.
