# Workspaces, Seats & Real-Time

> How Migma workspaces, Business seats, team roles, and real-time collaboration work together.

A **workspace** is where billing, members, seats, brands, and sending limits come together. **Seats** decide who can edit on Business. **Real-time collaboration** starts automatically when teammates open the same brand.

## How it works

## Common setups

**Solo workspace**

You own brands, credits, and billing. No seats needed unless you upgrade to Business and invite editors.

**In-house team**

One team workspace. Owner pays. Editors use seats; stakeholders join as Commenter or Viewer on each brand. Open a brand and work live on the [visual canvas](/creating-emails/visual-canvas).

**Agency**

One workspace per client (or one workspace for your agency with brands per client). Clients review without seats. See [Agencies & client brands](/collaboration/agencies).
