# Add columns in the Visual Editor

> The Visual Editor adds two-column, three-column, split, and grid blocks whose content can mix text, images, and buttons and stack on mobile.

Adds a **Columns** group to the **Add block** menu in the Visual Editor. Choose **2 columns**, **3 columns**, **1/3 + 2/3**, or **2×2 grid** to place a side by side layout, then fill each cell with text, an image, or a button. Columns stack on narrow screens, so the email still reads on a phone.
